RDL Backflow Testers is a family-owned and operated business started in 1989 by Bob Ledford. He began his career as a plumber in 1972 before switching to installing commercial and residential irrigation systems and backflow testing. In 1989 he obtained his certification license for backflow testing and began RDL Backflow Testers, focusing solely on backflow prevention services for 4,000 residential and commercial clients in the central Ohio area.
After many years of growing a loyal customer base Bob decided to retire to North Carolina in 2018, and turned the business over to his son, Loren Ledford, who is also a certified backflow tester, and has been testing since 2004.
RDL Backflow Testers provides residential, commercial, and industrial backflow prevention services in Columbus and surrounding areas. We are known for our exceptional customer service related to backflow testing and certification, backflow repair and maintenance, and backflow installation.
